
A Green Bay man is facing charges after he was found to be forcing women into having sex for money.
According to police reports, the Green Bay Police Department received a pair of tips from Crime Stoppers reporting suspicious activities at an apartment in the 600 block of South Irwin Avenue.
One of the tipsters even noted seeing girls being beaten, and public sex acts occurring in the residence.
Law enforcement set up a sting operation where they were able to identify two 17-year-old girls who were being forced into prostitution by 54-year-old Willie Herring III.
He has been charged With Human Trafficking, Keeping a Place of Prostitution, and Bail Jumping, and if convicted could spend up to 31 years in prison and could be fined up to $300,000.
The case remains under investigation.
