
A Milwaukee man, believed to be the ringleader of a $9.6 million cocaine ring in Fond du Lac County, has been convicted.
Lateef Strong was found guilty of Conspiracy to Deliver Over 40 Grams of Cocaine by a jury following a four-day trial.
Strong is one of 15 different individuals who were charged in this sprawling case which included individuals from Fond du Lac County as well as Milwaukee and as far south as Chicago.
District Attorney Eric Toney issued a statement where he revealed that “approximately 96,539 doses of cocaine totaling 127 pounds of cocaine, worth $9.6 million” was seized in the case.
Strong is facing up to 65 years in prison for his role.
