
A new elevated swimming risk has been declared for the Lake Michigan area in southeast Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service has issued a cautionary advisory concerning the anticipation of hazardous waves and currents in Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties.
This advisory is set to remain in effect from 5 p.m. today (August 17th) until 7 a.m. tomorrow.
During this period, waves in these specific locations have the potential to attain heights ranging from three to six feet.
