The man accused of stabbing a person outside a bar in Fond du Lac has been convicted.
32-year-old Vickendirka Jones was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
Police reports indicate that the victim and his girlfriend were leaving the Press Box bar in Fond du Lac on August 6th, 2022 when he got into an argument with Jones.
The couple began walking toward their car when the victim noted he had been stabbed.
He was taken to a local hospital by his girlfriend with three stab wounds and received life-saving surgery.
Jones is due back in court on October 30th for his sentencing.
