Two individuals, both women hailing from Madison, have been discovered deceased in Richland County, in what authorities are currently labeling as a case of murder-suicide.
According to Madison law enforcement, the women were reported missing on Sunday, prompting a search that concluded with their unfortunate discovery within a vehicle in close proximity to Lone Rock.
It has been disclosed that one of the women took the life of the other before ultimately ending her own life through the use of a firearm.
The circumstances preceding this distressing incident have not yet been revealed by investigators.
