Two Milwaukee police officers sustained injuries while making an arrest over the weekend.
The incident took place in response to an armed robbery call on the northwest side of the city.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), the individual being apprehended resisted arrest and made an attempt to flee.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the officers has not been disclosed.
They underwent medical assessment at a nearby hospital.
The arrested individual was also taken to the hospital for precautionary measures, as stated by the MPD.
