A Fond du Lac County man has been arrested following a high-speed chase that spanned two counties.
It all began at around 7:00 Wednesday evening when the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office got a call from a St. Cloud man reporting he had been struck by his father.
The victim reported that his 59-year-old father was drunk and fleeing the area in a gold minivan.
A sheriff’s Deputy in the area quickly located the van and began their pursuit.
The chase entered Sheboygan County, where deputies deployed spike strips on County Highway A near Highway 23.
The man attempted to avoid the spikes, but his vehicle became disabled, and he was arrested on his 3rd OWI.
He was also charged with Fleeing and Eluding, four counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and numerous traffic citations.
