The man that set fire to a supper club in Door County has been ordered to spend time at a mental health facility.
34-year-old Johnathan Polich changed his plea from not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect to no contest on two charges of Arson to a Building without the Owner’s Consent.
The change in plea was due to a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Following the plea change, Judge Todd Ehlers ordered Polich to be placed in the custody of the Department of Health Services.
Polich was arrested last October after he set fire to Mr. G’s Supper Club in Jacksonport.
Polich was also said to be stalking the owner’s son and threatening to kill him.
