Manitowoc Man Arrested on Multiple Counts of Theft

A Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend after fraudulently returning items to Walmart. The incident lasted several days, beginning last week Wednesday, when 28 year old Alexander Hunt walked into Walmart with nothing but a receipt, and returned items on the receipt at the customer service desk. Hunt repeated the offence later that day, and again on Saturday. Walmart employees contacted police Saturday, and Hunt was placed under arrest. It is reported that he was in possession of a “stack of receipts”. He is now facing three counts of retail theft and four counts of theft by fraud.
