A brand new senior community development has been announced in the Town of Sheboygan.
The $50 million project, which will kick off next spring, is a collaboration between several organizations, including Charter Senior Living out of Naperville, Illinois, DMK Development Group out of Louisville, Kentucky, American Companies, a contractor out of West Bend, and Van Horn Real Estate.
The area selected for the development is northeast of Highway 42 and North 40th Street and will consist of 175 senior apartments, 108 independent living apartments, 46 assisted living apartments, and 21 memory care suites.
Once complete, there will be medical and cognitive professionals on staff to assist the seniors living in the community, which will also focus on the social and spiritual aspects of life as well.
