SaberCats are going to their third consecutive Midwest United Football League championship game.
They defeated The Show at Lakeland University on Saturday 24 to 20.
The Show started off strong scoring on their first drive of the game but missed a two-point conversion leaving the score 6-0, the SaberCats would have to punt on their next possession, but Wyatt Stenson would pin them inside their own one-yard line.
A fumbled handoff went out the back of the end zone, giving the SaberCats a safety.
The score would remain 6-2 until the second quarter when a SaberCats interception led to a 35-yard touchdown from QB Dylan Kelly to Steve Strong on the first play of the drive.
The next Show would end with a fumble, leading to another touchdown for the SaberCats, an 11-yard toss to Kayden Summerville.
The SaberCats would enter the half leading 17-6, a score that would stand until the fourth quarter.
The Show would score a touchdown about halfway through the final quarter, but on the following possession, the SaberCats would score on a 22-yard scamper from Tarrell Jackson.
The Show got the ball back with about four minutes left in the game and would score a touchdown as time expired, but it was too little too late.
