An intersection near downtown Manitowoc will be closed off to traffic for about a week starting today.
According to Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel, the intersection at South 9th and Division Streets will be undergoing some concrete replacement as a part of the overall Division Street reconstruction project.
The paving and curing process will take about a week, so traffic will have to divert around the intersection until next Monday (August 14th).
Minikel also noted that they anticipate the final asphalt paving of Division St. from South 9th to South 14th St. will be completed next week.
