The City of Manitowoc remains littered with debris from last week’s sudden storm which took down tree branches and left thousands without power.
Dan Koski, the City’s Director of Public Infrastructure has announced that crews will be out and about on Wednesday (August 9th) to pick up brush waste from the storm.
The pickup will begin at 6:00 a.m., so residents are being asked to place any brush waste on the terrace prior to that time.
Each street will only be visited once, but if you were to miss the pickup, you can take the branches and sticks to the Basswood Road compost site.
Keep in mind that there is a special section for brush waste away from the grass and leaf drop of spot.
