Milwaukee Police say one of the five teenagers taken into custody Monday for stealing an S-U-V had been arrested less than two weeks ago for the same crime. That chase ended near Mitchell International Airport. When an officer used what is called a “PIT” maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle, it slammed into a house on Milwaukee’s south side. Two other young suspects had been involved in a similar chase three months ago which ended in Greenfield. Police were alerted Monday morning that suspects were going through parked cars. Two of the five teenagers in the S-U-V suffered injuries. Their names and the extent of their injuries haven’t been revealed.
