The Kenosha District Attorney has officially filed attempted homicide charges against Myron Bowie, the man who is currently wanted in connection with the horrifying incident last weekend, where his girlfriend was set on fire.
As of yesterday, authorities have taken swift action to bring Bowie to justice, but he remains on the run, with speculation that he may have fled to Chicago.
According to investigators, Bowie had previously threatened his girlfriend, her children, and her family with harm before carrying out the act.
Allegedly, he doused her with an unknown liquid and ignited it, resulting in severe burns to the victim.
The police are currently aiding the victim in her recovery and pursuit of justice.
In an effort to apprehend Bowie promptly, law enforcement agencies have shared his pictures online, urging the public to provide any information that may lead to his whereabouts.
They encourage individuals with knowledge of his location or any related details to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
