
The Green Bay Rockers used solid pitching to take down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders last night 3-0.
In the 9th, with the game still knotted at 0, the Rockers used small ball to plate 2 runs on singles, and a 3rd on a passed ball, all with two outs, and Michael Riley shut down the Spider’s attack to secure the win.
Grayson Walker pitched 6 and one-third innings, allowing 6 hits while striking out 5, while Cooper Dossett came on in the 7th to give the Rockers 1 and two-thirds innings of one hit, four strike-out ball.
The Rockers’ batters only had four hits, with two coming in the final frame.
The Rockers will take the day off today before taking on the Dock Spiders at Capital Credit Union Park in Green Bay on Wednesday.
