Shauntonae Walton, a woman known for her reckless driving history and driving without a license, is now facing additional charges for a recent hit-and-run incident.
Last week, prosecutors in Milwaukee filed formal charges against her for a crash that occurred earlier in July, during which she allegedly fled the scene at high speed.
What makes this case even more concerning is that at the time of the recent crash, Walton was out on bond for a fatal wreck that took place last December.
Following the deadly accident, she was explicitly ordered not to drive. Despite this, she allegedly violated the court’s order and engaged in dangerous driving once again.
The family of the victim from the December crash has expressed their frustration, arguing that Walton should not be allowed to operate a vehicle considering her history and disregard for the law.
Presently, Shauntonae Walton is being held on a $25,000 bond for the hit-and-run incident that occurred last month
