A police chase last week spanned two counties and landed two people in jail.
The chase reportedly began in Manitowoc County last Thursday, when a Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputy located a pickup truck that had been stolen.
The Deputy tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver continued into Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office then took over the chase, and were able to stop the truck with the use of stop strips, and arrested two Milwaukee residents near Cedar Grove.
The 40-year-old male driver has been charged with OWI, Fleeing and Eluding, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and outstanding warrants.
The 38-year-old female passenger has been charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Stolen Property.
