An 82-year-old Bellevue man has died after being struck by a vehicle early this morning.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the man was found lying in the middle of the road in the 3100 block of Main Street in the Village of Bellevue just before 1:00 a.m.
Deputies arrived on the scene to find the man already dead.
An investigation revealed the man, who lived nearby, was walking away from his residence and was hit by three different vehicles, two of which have yet to be positively identified.
The first one is said to be a light-colored SUV, unknown make/model while the second is a dark-colored pickup truck, unknown make/model, pulling a utility trailer which does not have working lights.
The incident remains under investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit.
