
Two people are dead after a mid-air crash at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
The crash occurred at around 12:30 Saturday afternoon when a helicopter and a gyrocopter collided near the Ultralight Runway.
Both aircraft plummeted to the ground with one landing on a parked plane. 68-year-old Mark Peterson of Foley, Alabama, and 72-year-old Thomas Volz of Amelia, Ohio died in the crash, which also injured two people.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash which was said to be between two aircraft owned by EAA attendees and were not a part of the show.
