A total of fourteen fire stations from around Sheboygan County were called into action last night (July 27th).
According to Sargent Jesse James Smith of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, a call came into the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Department just after 7:00 p.m. reporting a structure fire.
Crews from all over the area were dispatched to N7957 Little Elkhart Lake Road in the Town of Rhine, where they were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The teams responding came from the fire departments in Elkhart Lake, Glenbeulah, New Holstein, At. Anna, St. Cloud, Haven, Ada, Howards Grove, Kohler, Greenbush, Cascade, Johnsonville, Plymouth, and Kiel, along with the Sheriff’s Department, Elkhart Lake First Responders and Police, and the Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Team.
