
A Madison man has been accused of fatally shooting his own son during a dispute that escalated over 25 cents.
According to Madison Police, 64-year-old John Shively confessed that the altercation arose due to money-related matters.
Reportedly, Shively’s son requested $2.50, but Shively only possessed $2.30 cents, resulting in a confrontation that turned physical.
Regrettably, the conflict culminated in the fatal shooting.
Shively admitted to his actions, expressing immediate remorse for the devastating outcome.
