A Sturgeon Bay man who had been reported missing at Point Beach State Park has been located.
The 67-year-old man, who reportedly has dementia, had wandered away from his camper at around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.
He left his flashlight, phone, and other items behind, initiating a search with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department’s Drone and K9 teams as well as several other local teams and the DNR.
The man was located at around 1:45 a.m. yesterday by two members of Mishicot EMS.
The man was said to be disoriented and had suffered some minor injuries, but was ok enough to return to his fellow campers.
