The Manitowoc Bandits needed extra innings, but they walked away with a win Monday in their regular-season finale against the Ashwaubenon Lookouts 8-7.
Ben Coons stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the 11th inning and pounded a hit to left field that scored Chris Cisler to secure the win.
Coons had a big night at the plate. He went 2-5, both hits being doubles and had two RBI, the first of which came on a sac fly in the 10th to keep the Bandits alive.
He also pitched the final three innings, and as such, is credited with the win.
Carter Stebane meanwhile went 3-5 and scored three times while Earl Vorpagel went 2-6 with a triple and 2 RBI.
The Bandits are now off until next week as they await to see who their first-round playoff opponent will be.
They will either take on either the #4 seeded Casco A’s or the #7 seeded Branch Blaze, who play tonight at Village Park.
