Wisconsin’s Attorney General, Josh Kaul, has refrained from disclosing his intentions regarding potential charges against individuals who served as electors for former President Donald Trump in 2020.
In a recent statement, he emphasized the importance of holding accountable those who engaged in criminal activities with the aim of undermining the election results.
However, he stopped short of confirming whether his office would pursue charges against these individuals.
In contrast, Michigan’s Attorney General had taken action earlier this week by filing charges against Trump electors in her state.
Both Michigan and Wisconsin had witnessed a group of Trump electors stepping forward despite the former president’s defeat in the 2020 presidential race.
The situation remains under close scrutiny as Wisconsin’s attorney general carefully considers the appropriate course of action in response to potential unlawful activities related to the election.
