The Green Bay Police Department has revealed a major issue in the city.
Since the start of the year, a reported 80 vehicles, mostly Hundais and Kias have been stolen or damaged.
Additionally, of the vehicles that were stolen, many of the people who were caught driving them were doing so recklessly, causing even more danger to pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles on the road.
The GBPD suggests that if you have a garage, use it and make sure it is locked when you are not there.
If you do not have access to a garage, then parking in a well-lit area is suggested.
Green Bay Police also remind motorists of the more obvious suggestions, such as locking their cars, taking their keys with them, and never leaving valuables in plain sight.
