Recent data reveals a notable surge in the number of individuals utilizing the suicide prevention hotline within the state.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the Lifeline has received a staggering total of almost 92,000 contacts over the past year.
Approximately 80 percent of these contacts were made through phone calls, while the remainder comprised text messages or online chats.
This data reflects the growing recognition and utilization of the invaluable resources provided by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in Wisconsin.
