
Authorities in Milwaukee are actively searching for an SUV that was involved in a tragic hit-and-run incident resulting in the death of a woman on Saturday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of 22nd and Greenfield, as the woman was crossing the street.
Reports indicate that the initial vehicle involved was a silver or gray Jeep Grand Cherokee, which struck the woman and callously fled the scene.
Shockingly, a second car traveling directly behind the Jeep also collided with the victim, but the driver responsibly remained at the scene.
Following the incident, Milwaukee Police promptly apprehended the second driver involved and currently have intentions to apprehend the first driver as soon as their whereabouts are discovered.
In an effort to aid their investigation, law enforcement authorities have made available online images of the Jeep believed to be involved.
They urge anyone with information regarding the incident to step forward and assist in bringing the responsible individual to justice.
