
A from Chippewa Falls, identified as 50-year-old Chad Rollins, is facing a series of felony charges following a high-speed chase that occurred last month in Washburn County.
Prosecutors are proceeding with 15 felony charges, primarily related to recklessly endangering safety.
The incident took place on June 25th when law enforcement deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Highway 53 near Minong. Rollins chose to evade arrest and accelerated his vehicle.
The pursuit reached speeds of up to 95 miles per hour, ultimately resulting in Rollins successfully evading the pursuing deputies that night.
However, authorities managed to locate and apprehend him the following day.
Rollins is scheduled to appear in court later today to address the charges brought against him.
