The victim of a pedestrian fatality in Sheboygan County has been identified.
The Sheriff’s Department says that 74-year-old Jan Richmond of Sheboygan was walking on the shoulder in the 2800 block Enterprise Drive in the Town of Sheboygan at around 8:00 a.m. on the 4th of July when he was hit from behind by a minivan.
The driver of the minivan was a 37-year-old man from Sheboygan, whose name has not been released.
The investigation is continuing.
The incident was reported to authorities after a person living nearby heard a loud noise and went outside to investigate.
That is when they found Richmond in the ditch.
