The Green Bay Rockers’ pitching staff struggled last night as the team fell 12-5 to the Lakeshore Chinooks.
The majority of the Chinooks’ scoring came in the 4th and 6th innings where they scored 6 and 4 runs respectively. In total, five Rocker pitchers gave up 14 hits, including four doubles, while also walking five batters and striking out 6.
The Rockers’ batters drew nine walks and scattered five hits, two of which were recorded by Lukas Schramm.
The Rockers will look to shake off the loss quickly as they will be back at home tonight taking on the Wausau Woodchucks.
The Woodchucks are currently in second place in the Great Lakes West Division, only half a game behind the Rockers.
First pitch tonight is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Capital Credit Union Park in Green Bay as Christian Foutch takes on Isaac Crabb on the mound.
