Taylor D. Schabusines
The defense team for a Green Bay woman accused of killing and dismembering a man last February is once again looking for a delay in her trial.
Taylor Schabusiness is supposed to go on trial this month for the killing of Shad Thyrion, however, her team has filed for a motion of continuance delaying the trial so the court can decide if there should be a hearing on a psychologist’s evaluation of the defendant.
Despite what a psychologist previously determined, Schabusiness’ attorney, Christopher Froelich says he believes she is not competent to stand trial.
As of now, Schabusiness is slated to begin her trial on July 24th, with jury selection three days prior.
She is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilating a Corpse, and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.
