Alcohol Involved in Green Bay Crash

The Green Bay Police Department is reporting that an accident that severely injured one man Sunday evening involved a woman who was believed to be intoxicated. The incident took place at around 6:20 PM at the intersection of Webster Avenue, and Chicago Street. Reports indicate the 41 year old female was driving north on Webster, when she crossed the center line, striking the other vehicle head on.  The male driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital was serious injuries. At last word, the woman was being processed for OWI, and traffic was rerouted for a short while. The crash remains under investigation.
