
An Australian golfer has a two-stroke lead following the first day of action in the U.S. Senior Open.
Rod Pampling shot a 3 under par 68 through the first 18 holes at Sentry World, but after him, there are 13 golfers within three strokes of the top spot.
Mike Small, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and Retief Goosen are all at 1 under par, while 10 golfers, including Wisconsin native Jerry Kelly, are all knotted up at an even 71.
Steve Stricker is among eight golfers sitting at 1 over par as play began this morning at 7:00 a.m.
Stricker was slated to tee off at 8:34 a.m., while Kelly won’t begin play until 1:54 p.m.
