In what was a battle of division leaders, the Green Bay Rockers struggled on the mound in Wausau last night.
The Woodchucks pounded out 16 hits in their 14-0 win over the Rockers at Athletic Park.
The home squad was led offensively by Brent Widder, who accounted for 4 hits in 5 at-bats, while Dalton Peterson hit home four runs.
Kyle West was the only Rocker to get more than one hit, as he went 2-4, including a double.
With the win, the Woodchucks take over the top spot in the Great Lakes West Division, while the Rockers fall into a two-way tie for second with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, a game and a half behind Wausau.
Green Bay will try to end their modest two-game losing streak tonight, again in Wausau.
Christian Foutch will be tasked with the start for Green Bay and will battle Dominick Reid with a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
