There are two meetings today in the City of Two Rivers.
First up is the Police and Fire Commission, which will convene at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
After getting Police and Fire Department staffing updates, the group will enter a closed session to review their police officer candidate list.
Then, the Board of Appeals will be in the Committee Room in City Hall at 4:30 p.m. where they will be holding a public hearing.
This hearing will feature an appeal from a resident in the 4900 block of Riverside Drive who is looking to construct a detached garage.
The structure as proposed would violate the Two Rivers Zoning Ordinance and thus would need to be approved.
These are the final meetings for the week in the Cool City.
