A Sheboygan man showed off his speed, strength, and agility on national television earlier this week.
Jawon Turner was on the popular American Ninja Warrior program where he made his way through the challenging six-part obstacle course.
After making the first half look easy, Turner began to struggle with the fourth obstacle, known as The Getaway.
He was able to get through it, but his arms began to, in his words, “fry out”.
Then, it was time for the obstacle that took down half of the competitors that day, Ring the Bells.
Turner attacked the bells, but could not get through then, ending his run with a time of 1:49:43.
Despite falling short of completing the course, Turner qualified for the semi-finals, as it took him less time to get that far than other competitors.
His semi-final run will be aired at 7:00 p.m. Monday on NBC.
It will then be posted on Peacock the following day.
