A woman has been arrested in connection to a homicide in Ashwaubenon.
21-year-old Keilana Brunette of Green Bay is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide as Party to the Crime, Harboring or Aiding a Felon, and five counts of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer with Intent to Mislead or Obstruct a Criminal Investigation.
Brunette became a suspect when text messages between her and Prez Wade were found, with Prez noting his disapproval of her relationship with the 23-year-old victim, Braxton Phillips.
Wade was arrested shortly after the crime on March 1st, but Brunette denied any wrongdoing for months, and lied about Wade’s involvement, despite his confession.
Once the phone records were obtained, it was determined that Brunette was at Phillips’ apartment around the time he was killed, and so she was arrested.
She is being held on $10,000 cash bail, and she is set to return to court on July 10th.
