A seven-year-old Fond du Lac boy has died following a weekend crash.
The crash occurred Friday evening at around 6:20 in the 500 block of East Pioneer Road. Police arrived to find the child, who has been identified as David S. Custance, had been struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street.
A 53-year-old Fond du Lac woman was traveling west on East Pioneer Road when they struck Custance, and it is not clear if she will be facing any charges.
Custance was flown to Children’s Hospital Milwaukee, where he later died.
No additional information has been released by investigators.
