One person is dead as a result of a wrong-way driver in Sheboygan County over the weekend.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Highway 57 at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday when they collided with another vehicle.
The crash occurred near County Highway N in the Town of Lyndon.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene, while the other driver was taken by ambulance to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
Also of note, there have been social media posts about a video of the incident.
These posts are not true, as no video exists of the crash.
