The suspect driver in a crash that killed a motorcycle rider Thursday morning is expected to appear in court today (June 23rd).
The accident happened at around 4:30 a.m. on Wisconsin Highway 11 in Janesville.
The 53-year-old rider was struck head-on by the suspect SUV driver, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, who swerved to the left.
The victim passed away at the scene.
The SUV’s driver has been accused by the police of OWI as well as homicide by intoxicated driving.
