
A Brillion man died over the weekend in a two-vehicle crash in Calumet County.
According to the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office, a 73-year-old Appleton man was traveling east on Highway KK, and stopped at the intersection with Highway D at about 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
He then allegedly pulled into the intersection, cutting off the 37-year-old Brillion man who was going north on Highway D.
The two collided, and responding EMS pronounced the Brillion man dead at the scene.
The Appleton man was flown to a local hospital in fair condition.
The incident is under investigation, but the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office has stated that alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
