A barn in rural Sheboygan County was destroyed yesterday morning in a fire.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting the blaze just before 5:30 a.m., and fire crews were dispatched to W7065 Silver Spring Lane in the Town of Mitchell.
The Greenbush Fire Department arrived on the scene four miles southwest of Plymouth to find the barn completely engulfed in flames.
They were quickly joined by other local fire teams, and they all began attacking the blaze which was threatening other buildings nearby.
No animals were in the barn at the time and no human injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
