According to reports from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was watching for speeding vehicles on Highway 57 near Waldo when he saw a vehicle that was doing just that.
The deputy attempted to pull the vehicle over at around 9:00 p.m., but the driver sped off and turned onto Highway 28.
It is estimated that the 19-year-old suspect was traveling at speeds of over 130 miles per hour.
The chase came to an end at Highway 28 and County Highway M when the vehicle crashed into a farm field.
The driver and several passengers only sustained minor injuries.
The unnamed driver was arrested on charges of Eluding an Officer, Recklessly Endangering Safety, Speeding, Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle, and for Underage Drinking, a charge which his passengers also received.
