A major project going on in Two Rivers has surpassed its fundraising goal.
The City Council set a goal of raising $800,000 for the Central Park West 365 project, and in his most recent City Manager Report, Greg Buckley revealed that the goal has been surpassed.
As of this past Monday, the project generated $817,740 in support from grants and private donations.
The project itself has been coming along quite well, with the pavilion being completed this week along with the asphalt work on West Park Street.
Next week, crews will begin the splash pad and sound system installation and will begin placing the donor signage and site furnishings.
