
The Big East Conference has released its all-conference Girls Softball team for this spring.
The Mishicot Indians dominate the first-team unit with 5 selections: sophomore catcher Kasey Brouchoud, junior outfielder Cora Nelson, sophomore infielder Kaelin Adair, sophomore outfielder Kiran Sanford and junior pitcher Cora Stodola.
Nelson and Stodola were unanimous first-team picks while Random Lake pitcher Jayla Harter is the unanimous choice as Conference Player of the Year.
Other members of the first team unit include Manitowoc Lutheran infielder Jenna Lischka and the Howards Grove combination of catcher Ellie Schueler and infielder Laura Heim.
The second-team all-conference squad includes Lutheran’s Samatha Siehr, Mishicot’s Karsyn Krause, and the Reedsville duo of Kara Bubolz and Kara Kiekhaefer.
Those softball athletes receiving Honorable Mention include Madison Luebke of Manitowoc Lutheran and Baylie Carrico of the Mishicot Indians.
