SLC “Embraced by Beauty” Ministry Conference

Silver Lake College is holding a young adult and campus ministry conference this weekend. The conference, entitled “Embraced by Beauty,” will begin at 12:30 PM on Saturday at the campus, located at 8406 South Alverno Road in Manitowoc. Julianne Stanz, director of new evangelization for the Diocese of Green Bay, will be keynote speaker, with Sarah Bradford, communications coordinator for the Diocese of Green Bay also speaking about learning to see the sacred in the profane of “Art, Film & Music.” The conference is geared to ages 19 to 39, and registration and coffee will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Generose Enrichment Center. The conference will follow from 1 to 4 p.m. Mass with Bishop Ricken will begin at 4:15 p.m. in the Silver Lake College Chapel, located in the Main Building. 00
