A fire at an Appleton duplex has left the residents without a home.
The Appleton Fire Department was informed of the blaze in the 2700 block of East Theodore Lane just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday.
Crews arrived on the scene to find smoke and flames coming from the duplex’s garages.
The fire was under control in about 30 minutes, but not before it caused enough damage to deem the residence uninhabitable.
The blaze caused an estimated $175,000 in damage while the cause is yet unknown.
