Five people were arrested last night (June 1st) after a fight broke out at a Green Bay funeral home.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, officers were sent to Blaney Funeral Home just after 7:00 p.m.
When they arrived at the funeral home in the 1500 block of Shawano Avenue, they found an estimated 30 people engaged in a physical altercation.
The situation was eventually de-escalated, but not before an officer and one of the participants were injured.
According to witness reports, the incident began with a disagreement because a visitor was asked to leave services in progress for allegedly causing disruption.
Five people were taken into police custody, however, no additional information is being released at this time.
