The Mishicot Girls Softball team pounded out 10 hits as they took down New Holstein 7-5 in their Division 3 Sectional Semi-Final matchup.
The Indians struck first, plating two runs in the 1st inning, but the Huskies bounced back and knotted it back up in the 3rd.
That tie wouldn’t last long, as Mishicot would score 3 in the 4th inning and two more in the 5th and would hang on to secure the win.
Cora Stodola allowed 7 hits on the mound in a complete game effort while also rapping out a pair of hits.
Kasey Brouchoud led the offense with a pair of hits that drove in three runs, while Katelyn Callahan brought home two runs on her lone hit.
The third-seeded Indians are back at it tomorrow in the Sectional Finals as they will take on #1 seeded Peshtigo at the Orby Jones Sports Complex in Gillett.
